Adult Swim’s entire 15-song Garage Swim compilation is streaming below and available for free download. The free album comprises brand new songs from garage-dwelling rockers like Black Lips, King Tuff, Mikal Cronin, JEFF the Brotherhood, and King Khan, plus a cameo from Detroit punk-blues OGs the Gories. We’ve previously heard rollicking entries from Thee Oh Sees (“Devil Again”), the Lips (“Cruising”) and Cronin (“Better Man”). The set comes in part thanks to Dr. Pepper, who should watch their back following recent take-downs of Mountain Dew over their sponsorship of rap luminaries Lil Wayne and Tyler, the Creator. These songs blatantly advocate loafing under the influence, not to mention subtly promote irresponsible hair length and general fuzziness. Oh, and Cronin’s track is highly saxual.
