Radiohead Set to Record in September

Radiohead Return to studio September record

By the looks of things, Radiohead’s “year off” might be coming to a close. Just a month ago Jonny Greenwood detailed how he’d spent his time away from his main project, but in a new interview with BBC Radio 6’s Mary Anne Hobbs, as NME points out, he says that the band will head to the studio in September.

“We’re going to start up in September, playing, rehearsing and recording and see how it’s sounding,” Greenwood said.

In the time since their last record, Greenwood has been working on more abstract pieces, Thom Yorke has largely focused on his Atoms for Peace project, Colin Greenwood’s been doing charity work, and Philip Selway made another solo album. After that time spent in the wilderness, it looks like they’re finally set to start working on some sort of follow-up to The King of Limbs.
