MTV VMAs 2014 Winners List: Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, Lorde, and More

mtv vmas miley cyrus 2014

The 2014 MTV Video Music Awards have wrapped and Miley Cyrus took home the top award for her Terry Richardson-helmed “Wrecking Ball” clip — but had a homeless runaway take the stage to accept her Moonman and deliver a passionate speech about teenage homelessness in America.

Meanwhile, other winners included Lorde, who collected the trophy for Best Rock Video for “Royals”; Katy Perry, whose “Dark Horse” earned Best Female Video; Drake nabbed Best Hip-Hop Video for his “Hold On, We’re Going Home” mini-movie; and Ariana Grande, who picked up Best Pop Video for her “Problem” short.

But the biggest winner, of course, was Beyoncé, who took home three Moonmen — four if you count her Video Vanguard Award — more than anyone else. Then there was her show-stealing, face-melting, 16-minute medley of songs from her Beyoncé album, which you can relive here.
