Jessie Ware knows the value of simplicity. In the new video for “Say You Love Me,” the British soul singer sits atop a rock with a beachside backdrop behind her as she lets the words do the storytelling. The most exciting moment in the video is when she lets a bird land on her hand before it quickly flutters away. It’s a quiet and lovely treatment for a standout song from the “Share It All” singer’s Tough Love, set for an October 21 release in the U.S. “Love Me” is also somewhat of a sonic departure from her debut record, as the singer enlisted producers Benny Blanco and Two Inch Punch (who work together as BenZel) for Tough Love. The past few months have been quite good to Ware, as last week she tied the knot with her longtime fiance Sam Burrows. Watch the “Love Me” video above.
