Ryan Adams took the stage yesterday at New York City’s Bowery Ballroom for the first night of Neil Fest, a two-night series celebrating the music of Neil Young. During the performance he covered a few classic Young tracks: “Cinnamon Girl,” “Old Man” with an assist from Norah Jones, and “Helpless,” led by vocalist Valerie June and featuring cameos from Body/Head and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ guitarist Nick Zinner.
