Just a couple of weeks after Glastonbury Festival organizer Emily Eavis dropped some big hints to i-D, Adele has become the final headliner announced for this year’s event. An NME staffer who attended the very successful 25 singer’s 02 Arena show in London tonight reports that Adele told the audience she will close out Saturday night at the Pyramid Stage.
Previously announced headliners include Muse on Friday and Coldplay on Sunday, as well as ELO and PJ Harvey. Adele’s name has not yet been added to the official festival lineup, but Eavis confirmed the news in a tweet:
What a great honour it is to have the wonderful Adele confirmed for this year’s Saturday night headline spot on the Pyramid Stage!
