A number of artists have covered classic tracks for HBO’s ’70s rock series Vinyl (Julian Casablancas’ “Run Run Run” by the Velvet Underground, Andrew W.K. has covered Alice Cooper’s “I Love the Dead,” etc). Now we get two more: era staple Iggy Pop covering Nervous Breakdowns’ “I Dig Your Mind” and Alison Mosshart of the Kills and the Dead Weather doing a rendition of the Punks’ “My Time’s Coming.” Listen below.
