Tegan and Sara will soon release their follow-up to 2013’s Heartthrob, and now they’ve unveiled a video for the album’s lead single, “Boyfriend.” Directed by Clea Duvall, the clip has the synth sisters playfully experimenting with a bunch of different aesthetics and guest stars: flashy lighting techniques, zebra stock footage, wind machines, dogs, actresses Mae Whitman, Sarah Ramos, etc. Designer Rachel Antonoff is also on hand to help the girls swap props and set pieces.
