Blood Orange a.k.a Devonté Hynes’ newe album Negro Swan is here. Produced entirely by Hynes, the follow up to 2016’s Freetown Sound is heavy on the features including A$AP Rocky, Puff Daddy, Steve Lacy, Janet Mock and lesser known names Kelsey Lu, Aaron Maine of Porches, and Tschan. In a statement about the album Hynes described it as “an exploration into my own and many types of black depression, an honest look at the corners of black existence, and the ongoing anxieties of queer/people of color.”
The singer had previously releaed singles “Jewelry” and “Charcoal Baby” officially while “Chewing Gum” (featuring A$AP Rocky and Project Pat) and “Nappy Wonder” debuted on Jimmy Kimmel and Pitchfork Fest. Listen to Negro Swan below.
