Back in May, Mac Miller was arrested in San Fernando Valley after allegedly crashing his car into a power pole while drunk and then fleeing the scene. Today, TMZ reports that Miller has formally been charged with two counts of DUI by the L.A. City Attorney’s Office for the crash. The first count is for driving under the influence, and the second is for driving with a Blood Alcohol Count of at least 0.08. Miller avoided hit and run charges, which he originally faced for the incident.

Miller faces up to 6 months in jail and a $1,000 fine if convicted. He released his latest album Swimming earlier this month and recently announced a fall tour.
